王晖
Wanghui

1969年生于陕西西安，毕业于西北工业大学建筑系，1998年到2003年是非常建筑的合伙人，曾任北京大学建筑学研究中心兼职讲师。现生活工作于北京，主要工作包括建筑设计及城市规划，当代艺术及产品设计等。

王晖的作品包括2004年中国国际建筑艺术双年展的“廊及廊居”实验性室内设计，西藏阿里苹果小学、左右间咖啡的院、苹果22院街规划，2006年今日美术馆，798艺术区规划概念及2008年完成的今日美术馆艺术家工作室。

王晖从2003年开始参加各种展览，2004年北京的中国建筑艺术双年展，“影像生存”上海双年展，2005年位于深圳的“一界两端”当代艺术展，2006年位于上海的“建筑将来”个展，荷兰鹿特丹的当代中国建筑艺术及设计展，2008年大声展、伦敦“生活特醇’当代艺术展以及在捷克共和国克鲁姆罗夫的王晖装置个展。

Wanghui was born in Xi’an, Shanxi, and graduated from N.P.U. Department of Architecture, had been the partner of Atelier FCJZ during 1998 to 2003. He has also pluralisticly lectured of School of Architecture in Beijing University. He is currently living and working in Beijing, on architectural design, city plan and contemporary art design.

Wanghui’s work includes Corridor and Corridor Residence in Architectural Biennial Beijing 2004, Apple Elementery School of Ali in Ali,Tibet 2004, Mima cafe in Beijing, Today Art Museum and 798 Art District Preservation and Renovation Master plan in 2006.

Wanghui is active in different kind of exhibitions and events, he started from 2003, including The 1st Architectural Biennial Beijing 2004, 2004 5th Shanghai Biennale, “The Other End”, the Contemporary Experimental Art Exhibition Shenzhen 2005, Constructing the Future: Wang Hui Solo Exhibition, Shanghai 2006, and “China Contemporary”, NAI Exhibition in Netherlands 2006

「设计箴言」

设计的核心价值我觉得就是在于改变，在于不墨守成规的一种改变。对我来说，做当代艺术的想法就是通过做艺术品这个过程中间所获得的某些有效信息，用到建筑设计里。

「Design announcement」
The key value of design, in my opinion, is the change itself. The change that doesn't follow the rules. To me, the process of creating a piece of art is the act of doing contemporary art. The information I've got during the creation, I would use them in my architectural design.
