Jongeriuslab创办人及首席设计师

Hella Jongerius勇于尝试及破旧立新,擅长把手作与顶尖的科技、传统与现代的元素融合于作品中,是同辈中最多产的设计师之一。

Jongerius乃Jongeriuslab的创办人兼首席设计师,主力自家及其客户项目的设计工作,包括美国的Maharam、荷兰的Royal Tichelaar Makkum、瑞士的Vitra及瑞典的IKEA。

Jongerius创作了不少令人梦寐以求的家饰,曾于世界各地的博物馆及画廊展出,如纽约的Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum、现代艺术博物馆(MoMA)、Museum of Contemporary Art及 Moss Gallery;伦敦的Design Museum;法国的Villa Noailles及Galerie KREO;巴塞尔的Vitra Design Museum;科隆的Internationale M?belmesse,以及阿姆斯特丹的Stedelijk Museum。

于米兰家具展举行的首届DroogDesign Exhibition,Jongerius便是首批参展者之一,展品为「Bathroom Mat」。她最近的代表作是「Flower Pyramid」,设计概念源自古董郁金香花瓶,受著名荷兰陶器公司 Royal Tichelaar Makkum委托而设计。

Jongerius曾获法国Createur de l’annee及鹿特丹Design Prize for Repeat两大奖项。

Jongerius于荷兰恩荷芬的Design Academy任教,并于2000至2004年间出任Living/Atelier学系的主任,致力培育设计界的明日之星。

Fusing industry with craft and never afraid to break boundaries by mixing high and low tech and traditional with the contemporary, Hella Jongerius is one of the most prolific designers of her generation.

She is the founder and head designer of Jongeriuslab, through which she produces her own projects and work for clients such as Maharam (USA), Royal Tichelaar Makkum (The Netherlands), Vitra and IKEA (Sweden).

Her coveted work has been shown at museums and galleries such as the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum (New York), the Design Museum (London), Galerie KREO (Paris), Moss gallery (New York), Vitra Design Museum (Basel), the Internationale M?belmesse (K?ln), Villa Noailles (France), Museum of Modern Art, (New York), the Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam) and Museum of Contemporary Art (New York).

She was one of the original participants at the first Droog Design exhibition at the Milan Furniture Fair with her Design ‘Bathroom Mat’ and her most recent work of a Flower Pyramid, inspired by an antique tulip vase, was commissioned for the Royal Tichelaar Makkum (NL).

She is an award-winning designer having won the Createur de l’annee, France and the Rotterdam Design Prize for Repeat (NL).

A mentor to the up-and-coming designers of tomorrow, she has educated as well, taking a teaching position at the Design Academy, Eindhoven and from 2000-2004 she was the head of department for Living/Atelier.
