翠翠, Jehanne de Biolley was born in Belgium in 1962 into an aristocratic family. Her late father is Vicomte Dominique de Biolley. The family, originally from France, dates back to the medieval times. Jehanne grew up with her 4 brothers and one sister at her maternal grandfather's castle near Brussels. Besides her studies, Jehanne learned to ride a horse, play the piano, play tennis, swim and ski and do flower arrangement, household management and organize large social events as is customary of a young woman of her education. She learned about fashion from her mother who was Belgium's PR for Pierre Cardin.
In 1991, Jehanne set up Jehanne de Biolley Oriental Art in Conduit Street London, organizing exhibitions to combine antiques mixed with contemporary art, fashion or design. From 1997 on, Jehanne has been living and working in Beijing as a jewellery, fashion and home accessories designer. Setting up of Jehanne de Biolley London Showroom in London and Jehanne de Biolley workshop showroom and offices and Jehanne de Biolley Destination Gallery in Beijing.
