Architecture means mission, in which the professional morality, social responsibility, corporation image and personal character blended and mixed up. Architecture is like a long journey, but as long as we start it, explore and keep moving, we will find where happiness lies in. |
As the vice-president and chief architect of China Architecture Design and Research Group, Cui Kai is also titled to be the vice director of Architectural Society of China enjoying the special allowance from the State Council. In 2000, he was awarded to be the National Design Master. Besides, he once won the golden prize in Asian Architect Associa-tion and conferred with French Literature and Art Knight Medal. | 设计箴言： 尽管我们今天所建设的大都市建筑，是以满足大都市新的功能、新的发展为需求，但是它对过去的城市尺度与生活场景，当然包括对这个城市所具有的地方特色的把握，是否还应有所呼应？这就变成我工作的一个兴趣所在。或许这样的认知，在广泛的层面上并未受到别人的关注，但我仍然把它当作一个建筑师的立场或者世界观或道德来看待，而这是能够支撑我在设计和研究方向上持续努力的一个内在的立场和态度。 |
