Teng Kunyen is alwayst rying to a ros e the old architecture and endow them with new life. Undoubtedly, the efforts he made have a historically significant and out of the respect of Chinese culture. We can say to some extent what he’s done rescue the city from history and culture discontinue. Teng Kunyen was born in Taiwan, He has ever studied with the master in Taiwan architecture field, Mr. Han Baode. Teng Kun yen established his own design office in the year of 1985. In the following years, his architecture projects were awarded frequently. Teng Kunyen i s the first one to bring the idea of the Art Factory to Chinese civilization since he rented an old warehouse along Suzhou river and turned it to be his design office. It is usually referred to as a representative when comes to the preservation of the old architecture in Shanghai . He was issued by the United Nation The Asia-Pacific Cultural Heritage Protection Award for what He did for this city. |
出生于中国台湾,曾师从台湾建筑界的名师汉宝德先生。1985 年,成立了自己的设计工作室。随后的几年里,其设计作品频频获得建筑大奖。1998年,在苏州河岸边租下一幢老仓库,创造性地改造为自己的设计室,是第一位将“艺术仓库”的文化理念引进中国文化圈的设计师,并成为发掘改造上海旧建筑保护和利用的典范,并因此获得了“亚太文化遗产保护奖”。随后又在杨浦区创办了亚太工业创意园区,开启创意产业文化的先河。登琨艳一直试图用设计唤醒老建筑,重新赋予其全新的生命力。他的努力无疑是尊重中国文化,凝聚中国历史的魂,某种程度上挽救了城市脉息的延续。在这个对历史淡漠且断失传统文脉的年代,登琨艳犹如“卫道士”般,倾其全力护卫着一个坚定的信念——如何保护老建筑。 |
