Interior Design Magazine Hall of Fame Awards
The highest honor of the interior design profession.
The event of Hall of Fame was established by Interior Design
Magazine in 1986, which is an annual most participated event of
the year.
It is the premier award honoring those design professionals whohave contributed to the growth and prominence in the interiordesign field.
Those who have ever awarded by Hall of Fame can be named
such as Jamie Drake, Albert Hadley, Andree Putman, Frank
Gehry, Clodagh, Mario Buatta, Thierry Despont, Robert A.M.
Stern, David Rockwell, Philippe Starck, who are all famous
designers in this circle.

Hall of Fame China was introduced to China in Feb 2007. The launch dinner held won great appreciations and compliments from the participators.
Hall of Fame China shares the same guideline with its namesake in USA, the first Hall of Fame Award Gala Dinner will be held soon on 8th Dec 2007 to honor those outstanding designers who made great contribution during the year to promote the whole industry stepping forward in China.

Proceeds from this event are awarded to China Foundationfor Interior Design Education & Research (CFIDER).
This foundation is dedicated to:
· Fund the research projects in design field;
· Support the innovative practices of thoughtful designers;
· Encourage design communication and dialogue betweenChina and overseas countries;
· Fund the academic research of design college & institutein China;
· Grant scholarship to the top students with design background.
